Chiseled chess-chosen chases
Chill chambers checker changes
Mystified mages mold mists
Masking most mirrored minutes
Parachutes parry perils
Paradox pairs parallels

Inspired by Dota 2

Meta adapts; sage-shapen stadiums
Occupants; rage-laden craniums
We all collapsed; structural support could not carry
The un-bearing gravity - too much
Shared in our depravity we gather
In the pool where we were pushed
Can they be coerced to swim these laps?
Or will they just submerge and relapse?
Time will duly decide

Playing Catch with the Sun
2011
The siphoning light subtly and suddenly flickers; instinctive magics
Potent in presence as it pressures my visage
But vigilance verifies visions; harmonious collisions
Shadows meet mirrors echoing eclipses, etching dawn
On a violet clay vase filled with earths of reflection
Where vivid gecko-green stems sprout, revealing rate of flowery transition
Planted in planetary positions as to not disrupt Pluto's gravity
Combining these post-perceptions, I learn rules of the barking sun

Isthmus (needs editing)
2009
There is this thicket through which this isthmus does shine
an oblong object, obscure and in my mind.
A skinny strip, scabbed and sick, it's scathe I face as I approach it
and across it I walk and atop it I rot, my thoughts all forgot.
Surrounded by a water with waves I have brought her, on I wander
and I institute an order to issue my tired tissue forward.
And the farther I follow this fear-finished face
the farther I'm followed by my fate and I fade.
And as a frontal lobotomy is to a clustered autonomy,
all of which was robbed from me is to the inability to follow me.
And into this window I watch, wither, and wait
for into this isthmus, I'm too distant to wake, and
far into this isthmus and my sanity does it take.

Pebble
2011
Wholly smooth pebble,
in my hand, caressed.
Transfer endearment.
Spotted among rocks,
jagged in rubble,
short of erosion.
Imagining now
the streams, all long lost,
embedding this gem.
Other eyes perhaps
beamed over its nice,
aquamarine tint.
None though, as I will
save it eternal.
Pocket it 'till death.
Wholly this pebble
serves as testament
to reasons I live.
